1
Initial Brief

With the citizenM logo strikingly cut in relief, the Portland Stone and glass façade stands out from its regency neighbours with views over the Tower of London.

Sertus were approached to supply the smoke ventilation system for this Amsterdam-inspired citizenM hotel.

2
Challenges

Due to a number of legislative and building factors, the building needed a roof AOV that suited an external curb size in excess of 1.5m x 4.3m. As a result, this required a bespoke unit to be designed and manufactured.

3
Outcome

Despite the requirements for bespoke products, the hotel was successfully handed over with a compliant smoke ventilation system and a pleasing roofscape.
