Addressable Control Panel (CAS-R | ACP)

Product features and details.

Product Overview

The Sertus Addressable Control Panel (CAS-R | ACP) is a core component of the Sertus Addressable Control System

(CAS-R) and provides communication and power within a single smoke control address. It is connected via primary

and secondary Modbus comms to the Graphical User Interface (GUI) which provides overall control of each

address, zone, and group. It also communicates with various field devices including fire alarm inputs, smoke

detectors, firefighter override switches, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, rain and wind sensors. It provides

power for smoke and environmental control equipment and BMS fault or fail outputs for external monitoring.

The extremely robust design includes a powder-coated steel casing which is IP42 rated and incorporates earthing

points at locations within the panel. It is certified to BS EN 50130 + A1:2014 Alarm systems | Electromagnetic

compatibility, which enables it to perform well in a typical service core environment and eliminates risks from power

surges and electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment.

The control panel incorporates a sounder and signal lights provide an audible and visual warning of standby, fire

and fault conditions. It also provides monitoring of all life safety equipment including open or short circuit detection

and position feedback from vents and dampers. Visual and audible signals and monitoring levels comply with BS

ISO 21927-9:2.

The ACP is simple to set up via the Device ID and is fully addressable and uses Modbus and Ethernet IP protocol

to communicate to other devices on the system. The connections are made via plug-in connectors enabling

quick set up, and simple servicing and replacement.

It provides intelligent control of Environmental ventilation by taking inputs from temperature sensors and providing

0-10V signals to modulating dampers enabling flow rates to be commissioned to suit various site conditions.
