Remote Temperature Sensor (CAS-R | RTS) provides internal temperature monitoring by converting the input data into electronic signals to record, monitor, or signal temperature changes enabling temperature sensing and transmission to the Sertus Environmental Ventilation Control System for rapid adjustment of the ventilation and cooling controls to maintain common corridors within designed temperature range.
The RTS operates automatically and is designed to interface with the Sertus Addressable Control System and provide control of the fan speed via the Variable Speed Drive (VSD) when in environmental mode. They provide a highly accurate temperature signal which is able to control fans speeds and cooling loads following site-specific control data and protocol.
They operate on a ModBus RTU protocol and may be installed directly to the ACP or with CAS-R | DPS Pressure Sensors as a combined addressable sensor system.
