1
Initial Brief

Sertus were employed on behalf of Emtec very late in the construction of the building. As a result, Sertus were given the exciting challenge of designing, running a Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD), supplying, and commissioning of the mechanical smoke ventilation system in less than 3 months.

2
Challenges

Due to the very short timescales and given the exceptional circumstances, we manufactured the goods and carried out the CFD simultaneously. By working very closely with Emtec and other contractors, we ensured that the system was installed and commissioned faster than the three-month target.

3
Outcome

Throughout the project, continual communication and flexible thinking meant that we could complete this project ahead of a tight schedule.
