My roof vent is stuck open - I want to shut it fast!
- Remove the cover from the control panel.
- Isolate mains supply to panel.
- Remove cable from terminals 2 and 3 and place over a fully-charged min 18V DC cordless tool battery. If unit opens, reverse polarity.
N.B. Please only use this in emergency as damage could occur to motor.
Can I use an AOV as an access hatch?

What is the height requirement for a Head of Stair AOV on roofs?
According to EN12101-2 standards, the top of the base of the roof AOV must be positioned at least 300mm above the finished roof surface.
