Extract fans certified to BS EN 12101-3:2015 are required.
Flow rates are determined by a CFD.
Extract Rate
For smoke clearance, 10 Air Changes/Hour. For environmental ventilation, 6 Air Changes/Hour.
Power Supply
Requires 2 x three-phase power supplies via diverse routes. UPS, generators and secondary substations are options. More detail in BS 9991 – Section 15.
Maximum Car Park Size
If the CFD analysis confirms system performance, there is no limit to the size of the car park
