The Sertus Concertina Ladder (RAL-R | CL) is an industrial stairway and can support a load of 200kg per tread and 500kg/m2. Manufactured to DIN EN 14975 (DIN 4570) and designed to all industrial site requirement the Concertina Ladder (RAL-R | CL) is the most heavy duty retractable ladder currently available.
It is suitable for all heavy duty industrial applications.

- Access to plant rooms
- Access to roof spaces
- Access to flat roofs
- Telescopic handrail
- Fully counterbalanced, self supporting operation
- 4 stock sizes up to 3400mm
- Non-slip treads
- Die cast aluminium construction
- Standard treads 350/300 x 140mm deep
We recommend setting the ladder at approximately 20 degrees, though this may vary slightly depending on the height range of the units.
Our minimum dimensions are for the ladder to function properly. However, the clearance for an operative to pass through depends on a site-specific risk assessment and the intended purpose and frequency of use.
We recommend that the distance does not exceed 250-300mm.
No, the ladder itself is not lockable in the closed position. If a trapdoor is included, it can be lockable or electronically secured, but access to the lock must be considered.
We don’t supply removable ladders at the moment.
No, the ladder’s angle cannot be adjusted. If clashing occurs, we recommend using fixed vertical ladders, which we don’t supply.
