Can the FSL-RG be installed in any orientation?

No, the FSL-RG cannot be installed at a pitched angle. It must always be installed in a bottom-hung position to meet DoP (Declaration of Performance) requirements and ensure compliance.

What are the maximum and minimum dimensions for the FSL-RG?

The height and length of the FSL-RG can range from 400mm to 3000mm.

Is it possible to have a restrictive opening for environmental mode?

Yes, a restrictive opening can be configured for environmental mode, and this can be managed through certain companies' control systems (we can verify specific compatibility).

Does the FSL-RG have a face-drained detail, or is drainage only available at the bottom with the cill profile?

The FSL-RG has various drainage points, regardless of whether the cill profile is used.

Does the FSL-RG comply with PAS24 security rating?

No, PAS24 is a security/anti-burglary rating that we do not offer on any of our products. It typically applies to doors and windows, not AOVs (Automatic Opening Vents).

Can the FSL-RG incorporate environmental trickle vents in the frame?

No, in a smoke scenario, all other levels should remain closed to prevent smoke re-entry. We recommend using a timer to open vents slightly for background ventilation. Our Network Controls can manage this. In case of an alarm, the fire floor vents will open while all other floors will receive a 'close' command.

What is the standard glazing combination for the FSL-RG?

As standard, we supply laminated outer glass and toughened inner glass. Different glazing combinations are available upon request.

Is the FSL-RG fire-rated?

No, the FSL-RG is not FD30 fire-rated. However, it complies with EN 12101-2:2003 for resistance to fire and mechanical stability under B300.

Can the FSL-RG be supplied without glass?

No, we cannot supply the FSL-RG without glass.

What is the opening degree certification of the FSL-RG?

The FSL-RG is certified to open between 15 and 90 degrees.

Is the FSL-RG available in shapes other than square or rectangular?

No, the FSL-RG is only available in square or rectangular shapes.

Can the FSL-RG be supplied with aluminium glazing instead of glass?

Yes, the FSL-RG can be fitted with aluminium glazing, which is insulated using Rockwool Insulation.

Can the FSL-RG be recessed past the external wall?

Yes, this is possible. However, consideration should be given to whether a cill detail is being used, as this may have an impact.
