Ark M&E sought Sertus’s expertise to supply and install smoke ventilation products that adhered to stringent safety regulations, specifically requiring EN 12101-8 certified smoke dampers. The challenge was to meet a tight project timeline while ensuring full compliance and efficient installation.  

Sertus provided robust mechanical smoke ventilation products to address heat build-up and ensure safety throughout the phased residential project at Barking Wharf. Our solution featured the Sertus Pod Original, a modular and pre-commissioned smoke extraction Pod that delivered high performance with minimal setup time. This Pod was designed to efficiently extract smoke while also offering optional environmental ventilation to cool the building's common areas. Complimenting the Pod, we supplied Shaft Louvre Dampers for effective multi-zone smoke control and Roof Single Leaf vents for rapid smoke and heat ventilation. The integration of these components ensured a streamlined installation process and adhered to all safety and compliance standards.
